Hi,
To another bug whilst the problem existed only on experimental, I already
had posted the problems regarding the XDG_SESSION_ID detection.
Actually, after being merged into unstable, the nature of the problem
changed:
Doing an
"mkdir -p /run/user/0"
"chmod 777 /run/user/0"
before gdm script is run, helps so that the login window is displayed, and
nothing stays blank.
However, now 2 different problems occur:
1) when timed login is enabled, the input switches to the "sign in" button
after each letter of the password. The problem is gone, when timed login is
disabled
2) when I log myself in, I see each gnome-related process start, like
gnome-shell and children, however the screen stays blank, and nothing is
shown except mouse pointer; however it has my own pointer style.
Maybe, someone knows a solution to make gdm log me in "correctly"?
Regards,
Yusuf.
