Bug#746332: anjuta hangs when stopping an running application

Dear Maintainer,

I'm writing an vala gtk program. When I compile the program and run it, and run
it again, a pop-up window appears, informing me

        The program is already running.
        Do you want to stop it before restarting a new instance?

If I click YES, anjuta hangs, and can only be force terminated.
