See the bug[1] this was spun off from -- according to my tests with 3.4.2-2, a 
"quit" menu option is no longer needed because nautilus always seems to exit 
with its last window. As I noted there, I am neither a regular user of 
Nautilus nor of Gnome, so I may not be aware of all configuration options; if 
there still is a configuration where Nautilus stays alive with no windows, then 
in that configuration, a "quit" menu option is still needed.
