Well, the reason I didn't send them in together in this case was that
the first one - the zlib one - is quite independent from the others, and
the last one (the debian/control changes) will produce a package that
may not be uploaded to the Debian archive yet.  So in my mind they were
three different patches indeed - but thanks for considering them
together.

Ooof!  Right, sorry about that! :(  Should have caught it myself...

Right, I use a patched pbuilder and, more precisely, a patched sbuild
for all my work on this GSoC project.  Sometimes it feels like Wookey,
Johannes Schauer and Helmut Grohne have done all the important work
already :)

I'll take a look at the patches there, yes.  BTW just a quick comment
from a single reading of the bug log - you say that dh-exec "introduces
perl", but util-linux already build-depends on debhelper, which is kind
of written in Perl - I don't think that there's an additional dependency
there.
