Hey,

A short summary of the bug:
Michael uses Zonet KVM3304 4 port KVM switch with multiple computers.
After switching from one to another (for about two hours or more) and
then switching back, his screen resolution is set to the minimum. As he
describes it 'It is almost like some process goes out and queries about
the display resolution and when the machine is not selected it either
does not get an answer or the answer it gets is 600x480'. When he tries
to set the resolution back to the original value, his display goes black
and his computer becomes unresponsive. He can still ping that machine
from another one, so it appears that it is not completely down.

His problem occurs only when using gnome or gnome classic - both KDE and
fvwm work fine. Gnome running at openSUSE also works fine.

He is running stable with:
- GNOME Shell 3.4.2
- libdrm-nouveaula:amd64 2.4.40-1~deb7u2
- xserver-xorg-video-nouveau 1:1.0.1-5

His dmesg logs are attached in earlier message.

Regards,
T.
