Yes, this way one can turn the sound off completely. I'd rather make the volume
configurable.
Or actually, the best option for me is to re-enable the old'good pc-speaker
beeps. I was able to fix this for previous gnome versions by patching metacity,
now gnome does not use metacity and I haven't found what to patch. Any help
with this?
