Hi,

there is a report bug on gnome-terminal bugzilla about the background
option where a dev said "no." to the question "Can you get back
background option available?" ...

I'm now using XFCE-terminal and you have a background option. So I think
the best thing to do is to install this shell.

Could you please give me that bugzilla's bug ?

I know that for background transparency option not with background color.

Since I have background color option using gnome-terminal-3.10.1-1.

try right click over gnome-terminal -> profiles -> profile preferences ->
(tab) colours -> background colour

I checked , i can change the color of the background but i can't change
the transparency
