Hi,

Thanks a lot Simon for working on this. At this point, I think it'd be best to
hold this for a little bit and do cogl 1.18 directly, which bumps the SONAME
again, to avoid doing this transition twice in less than a month.

We can do it as soon as 1.18 is out (or even with the RC release), assuming the
situation doesn't change much wrt binnmus and rdeps not breaking.

However if you still want to do this one now and can get a slot, I'm all for it!
