Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 3.4.1.1-2
Followup-For: Bug #692610
I just installed fresh wheezy system, installed the terminal, and there
it is: black text on black background.
Note that users running full gnome desktop probably use some gnome theme
which sets GTK theme, and users of long-time non-gnome installtions
probably have preferences in place that make the colors sane.
Indeed, on this system I have my own gtk theme that makes the terminal
look sane with system colors.
So the problem is probably that gnome-terminal does not work with the
default gtk theme which next to nobody uses.
