I have just approved that. For our svn repository layout, please see [1]. FWIW
some guys from our team are looking at migrating the repo to git.

We usually upload odd (unstable) releases (e.g. 3.11.x) to experimental and wait
for the stable releases before uploading those to sid, but exceptions can be
done and I trust your judgment if you consider something ready for unstable.
