Package: gnome-session
Version: 3.8.4-4
Severity: important
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,
I am running Jessie currently installed from Netinst cd. It is not possible to
turn off or logout from gnome using the menu. Attempting to issue a direct
command with gnome-session-quit --power-off does nothing and prevents future
command to display the dialog.
Currently only way to poweroff is to issue the comman from a terminal as root.
Once the command is issued it appears that gnome-desktop becames somewhat
broken in certain features (is not possible to switch window by clicking but
only by alt-tab).
Current package affected is gnome-session 3.8.4-4.
No errors are logged out by issuing the command via terminal.
