Package: rhythmbox-plugins
Version: 3.0.3-1+b1
Severity: normal

Hi,
when the grilo plugin is enabled, rhythmbox crashes reproducibly in some
very different situations: When I execute aptitude safe-upgrade and
packages get upgraded. When I connect my digital PTP capable camera (I
use the standard Gnome 3 desktop with all these fancy automation things,
like opening nautilus with the contents on the SD-card in my camera).
When I copy files to my home directory, e.g., with cp, scp, rsync and
nautilus.
After a crash, dmesg says a segfault happened in libgrltracker.so:
[13585.465669] rhythmbox[9629]: segfault at a00000000 ip
00007fb45dda5dce sp 00007ffff4209510 error 4 in
libgrltracker.so[7fb45dd9d000+f000]
It seems to me, as if the grilo libraries try to monitor changes in file
systems and newly available storage devices like my camera, but
something goes wrong there.
Cheers - Fuddl
