Dear Maintainer,
I have this problem since some time...
gdm3 is not usable and gives an "Ooops" message before showing the login form.
I have lipam-systemd installed (and as a side-note, pam_winbind). I
use systemd a pid=0. I have enabled the firewall.
As a workaround, I switched to lightdm, but session locking and user
switching doesn't work.
Some (maybe) relevant logs (/var/log/gdm3/:0-slave.log):
simple-slave[7137]: Failed to give slave programs access to the
display. Trying to proceed.
