Bug#710855: gdk-pixbuf: Cannot open pixbuf loader module file '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders.cache'

Another story, with some extra details...

Same problem while using Testing on May 5, upgrading
libgdk-pixbuf2.0-common:amd64 from version 2.30.6-1 to 2.30.7-1. 
Aptitude printed:
> Processing triggers for hicolor-icon-theme (0.13-1) ...

In my case, however,
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders.cache actually 
did not
exist, although it was still in my mlocate.db, which indicates that 
although it was
there recently, it no longer is, but should be.

It sounds to me like either the error message is spurious (which is 
bad), or a
file was somehow deleted but shouldn't have been (also bad).
