Hello,

I confirm the bug is still present on 3.8.5-2 (Jessie up to date).

Even worse, I can't browse my pictures in the "Pictures" tab in the
background selection menu. I had to select a picture in Nautilus and
right-click it to "use as background". But this should be a different bug.
