Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 3.12.2-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Since upgrade from 3.10, shortcuts <Alt>+number are not forwarded to
the application inside the terminal, even if there is only one terminal
tab open.
For example, in irssi <Alt>+number should go to the Nth channel window,
and since 3.11 it doesn't work anymore.
I just tested 3.11.3-1, 3.12.0-1, 3.12.0-2 and 3.12.2-1, and they all
fail to send the shortcut to irssi. 3.10.1-1 works, as all versions I
used earlier (should include at least all 3.x in Debian).
This has an important impact on usability for me as I extensively use
irssi and its <Alt>+[1-9] shortcuts.
Regards,
Colomban
