Source: glib2.0
Version: 2.42.0-2
Severity: normal

Hello,

glib2.0 seems to be one of the only remaining user of libelfg0 package.

According to its description:

"This shared library may be needed by pre-packaged programs." So it
looks like to be still present in the archive for some old (closed
source?) software.

Apparently back in the time elfutils implementation was missing some
function (elf_getshdrstrndx and elf_getshdrnum) that were created
(aliased) in version 0.142

Fedora is also linking against the elfutils implementation.

Cheers,

Laurent Bigonville
