Package: gdm3
Version: 3.14.1-3
Severity: important

On this host running xf86-video-geode, the upgrade from 3.14.0 to 3.14.1 results in GDM producing a blank screen. 'systemctl' reports but gdm runs as expected, but there's no screen content.

Just to check whether this would be an xf86-video-geode issue, I booted into single-user mode and succesfully used 'startx' to launch 'icewm' via a minimal /root/.xinitrc configuration.

Given this, this gdm3 issue appears to be caused by some changes in one of GNOME's dependencies since 3.14.0, but I have no idea which one. I welcome ideas to help me narrow down the exact cause and enable GNOME maintainers producing a fix before Jessie is released.
