We are planning to switch to git for the maintenance of our packages
anyway, moving the repository afterwards would be trivial.

If you want to put the package under the team maintenance you can add
"Debian GNOME Maintainers
<pkg-gnome-maintainers at lists.alioth.debian.org>" as maintainer and add
you to the uploaders (or the opposite if you prefer).

For alioth membership, I guess the best is to pass on IRC
(#debian-gnome on the OFTC network)

Thanks!
