Looks like a bug in the kernel DRM drivers to me (or might be in Mesa,
or in Cogl, or in the X.Org driver, I'm definitely no expert in this
field).

Can you reproduce this bug with a kernel that we ship in Debian,
e.g. current sid's 3.16 or experimental's 3.17?
