There's no magic flags to add. This is all manual labor figuring out
where all changes comes from and then -x those parts. The parts you want
to filter out which you want to identify, apart from what was already
mentioned, is things that are autogenerated by the build system.....
Possibly more. See other unblock bugs for examples.

Given that the newer version has already been uploaded, I'm not completely
sure. There are multiple ways to handle it. One way would be to go
via testing-proposed-updates, but I think fixes for severity important
bugs does not qualify for going in that way anyhow.... so, not sure...

I'll look at it a bit closer later.
