Bug#765771: gdm3: Xorg.N.log is gone

Package: gdm3
Version: 3.13.92-1
Severity: serious
Justification: makes X maintainer's life miserable
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-x at lists.debian.org

Hi,

it looks like gdm nowadays starts Xorg with -logfile /dev/null, and the
log can only be found in the journal, which is root only. As the X
packages' bug script heavily relies on getting the user's X log, that is
not going to work out for us. Please bring the X log back for jessie
and work with us during the next cycle to find an acceptable
non-root-only way to get at the X log.

Thanks,
Julien
