How to reproduce. Run in one console:

md at bongo:~$ LANG=C /usr/lib/notification-daemon/notification-daemon

(notification-daemon:13600): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt to allocate widget with width -23 and height 36

(notification-daemon:13600): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 16 was not found when attempting to remove it
Rilevato trace/breakpoint
[Exit 133 (SIGTRAP)]
md at bongo:~$

And then in a different one:

$ notify-send test test
$ notify-send test test

I don't know if it matters but I am using fvwm.
