Bug#777538: gnome-shell-extensions: No gnome-classic alternative for x-session-manager

Package: gnome-shell-extensions
Version: 3.14.2-1
Severity: normal
In the alternatives system, it is not possible to choose "Gnome Classic" as the
default desktop (x-session-manager). You can choose other desktops when
installed, but not "Gnome Classic".
In "man gnome-session" they tell you can change the default desktop in
/usr/share/gnome-session/sessions/gnome.session but this is a workarround in my
opionion. It's not a real config-file, and if you change it you cannot start
the normal Gnome anymore, so you have to replace it.
Maybe we can use this bug to find a workarround for this problem.
The same problem is with "Gnome on Wayland", but this is part of the package
gnome-session.
It's no problem to choose "Gnome Fallback", when installed.
