Normally I would use GNOME, but I don't because of these issues:


So I fell back to XFCE and found that the gedit-window is not resizable on the
XFCE-desktop, while there is no problem with that on GNOME.
You are right, normally one
would use mousepad on XFCE, but I have gtk3-engines-xfce installed:

Also I believe, that details do matter sometimes.
