Bug#789474: gnome-settings-daemon: Keyboard shortcuts do not work after update to version 3.16.2-3

This bug still persists despite current sid packages on 14-07-2015

ii  gnome-session                                 3.16.0-1
ii  gnome-settings-daemon                         3.16.2-3

Ctrl-Alt-l produces the syslog message:

gnome-session[15434]: (gnome-settings-daemon:15460):
media-keys-plugin-WARNING **: Couldn't lock screen: Cannot invoke method;
proxy is for a well-known name without an owner and proxy was constructed
with the G_DBUS_PROXY_FLAGS_DO_NOT_AUTO_START flag
