Package: mutter
Version: 3.16.3-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
Using the vertical scrollbar in iceweasel or nemo (=fork of nautilus).

   * What was the outcome of this action?
mutter and gnome-shell often break without any comment and restart, then
everything seems to work normal again. However, if you use the scrollbar again,
a grey screen with some text like "O no, an error occured, logging out, all
extensions will be disabled" appears. The same problem is reproducable with
iceweasel and nemo, scrollbars in evince for example are working normally.

After logging in again, there are a few lines in syslog that could point to the
problem:

The log file after a crash because of nemo looks quite similar, it points to
the same code line with the same error message:
Jul 25 21:29:50 Henning-Thinkpad nemo.desktop[2048]: (evince:5282): GLib-
GObject-WARNING **: The property GtkSettings:gtk-menu-images is deprecated and
shouldn't be used anymore. It will be removed in a future version.

Jul 25 21:30:00 Henning-Thinkpad gnome-session[1179]:

....

Scrolling with my mouse wheel is working fine, it seems to happen only if you
click on the scrollbar and move it with left mouse key.

If you need further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Any help
is higly appreciated.

Best,
Henning
