the bug seems fixed at least after my last full-upgrade from testing: gdm3  3.14.1-7 (and kdm 4:4.11.13-2):

# systemctl status gdm.service
● gdm.service - GNOME Display Manager
   Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/gdm.service; static)
   Active: inactive (dead)
