Bug#789575: gnome-shell: media keys do not work at all

Hi,
after some recent updates (see https://bugs.debian.org/789484)
I cannot use media keys (vol-up, vol-down, mute, etc.). The
keys are properly set in the gnome settings, but the system
does not respond to them.
