Hi,

Ubuntu fixed this bug by applying a patch allowing type-ahead as an option:

Could you please apply this patch in Debian? Upstream will not apply it:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=721968

I also stopped using Nautilus because of this bug...
