Bug#599233:

gksudo and gksu both swallow error messages from the command invoked
with them for me.
At least in the following example:

me at UbT:~$ sudo chown badname ./test
chown: invalid user: ‘badname’
me at UbT:~$ gksudo chown badname ./test
me at UbT:~$ gksu chown badname ./test
me at UbT:~$

I'm actually running Ubuntu 14.04, installed from the mini iso with
Openbox as the DE, but I thought this note would be more likely to do
more good here, since it is most likely an upstream thing.

I'm on the waiting list for an email account at
protonmail.com
where I'll be philip.mundhenk at protonmail.com
or maybe philip.mundhenk at protonmail.ch
until the DIME project gets off the ground.

Because the Bill of Rights needs to be more than "a literary fiction".
