Bug#784121: gnome-settings-daemon: Triple monitor setup doesn't manage the loss of one monitor gracefully

Package: gnome-settings-daemon
Version: 3.14.2-3
Severity: normal

I'm not sure this is the right package, please reassign accordingly.

My setup is a laptop with 2 external monitors. I configured one of
the external monitors as primary, and both the laptop screen and
the other monitor as secondary. When closing the lid, however,
making the setup become dual-monitor only, I was presented with the
"Something has gone wrong" screen with the sad face, and had to
logout. (as I think this screen is a gnome-shell thing, maybe that's
a gnome-shell bug?)

On the other hand, when going to settings -> Display, selecting the
laptop screen, and disabling it manually before closing the lid,
everything goes fine.
