Bug#787104: regression: 3.14.2 is 1 row × 1 column smaller than requested

I have gnome-terminal configured to produce the standard 80×24 windows by
default. After upgrading to 3.14.2-1, this results in 79×23 windows.

The change of 1 row, 1 column is consistent: I can work around the bug by
requesting 81×25 terminals. Downgrading to 3.14.1-1 also works.

This seems particularly weird because I can't see any non-translation
changes in upstream git, and the extra patch that ah cherry-picked does
not seem relevant either...
