I don't think a bt will help here, as it doesn't crash in the terms of
segfault or that like.
Instead, a popup window appears which tells that something crashed and
whether I want to continue with fallback mode, and I can click yes or
no.
The whole thing (i.e. error message) appears already in what looks like
gnome classic/flashback or whatever they call it these days.
Maybe the following logs help you.
I've set
> [debug]
> Enable = true
in /etc/gdm3/daemon.conf and the log output is from syslog.
Then I've upgraded to the current clutter version, restarted gdm.service
and logged into cinnamon.
If that doesn't help, please tell me exactly what I should do to
generate the bt you want (i.e. which process to attach, and so on).
