I am running Debian testing, and upgraded my packages. In a recent update, the
ability to drag a window from the Activity area (ie the slightly shrunken view
of all the windows in the current workspace) to a different workspace.
All that happens now is that I release the mouse hovering over the new workspace
and the window flies back to its current position on the existing workspace.
I run two screens, with the second screen being visible from all workspaces. I
CAN drag from the activity window where there are several workspaces to the
single workspace on the other screen. I CANNOT drag it back again.
I wasn't 100% sure I had lost that functionality, but I checked the gnome user
guide and I should be able to.
