Bug#778485: battstat-applet: memory leak

Package: gnome-applets
Version: 3.8.1-1
Followup-For: Bug #778485

Dear Maintainer,

I can confirm this behaviour. I tend not to shut down my laptop at
all, as it works perfectly with suspend, and this results in ever
increasing memory consumption of the battstat-applet over time; today
I had to manually kill it after it consumed 10 % of memory, around 800
MB of the total of 8 GB. Another occasional behaviour is that the
battstat-applet begins to consume 100% of one of the four processor
cores and has to be manually killed, again.

Best,

Harri Kiiskinen
