Picking up this old topic, we have transferred src:cairo over to
collab-maint in the mean time, with the Debian GNOME team as maintainer.

There also is a src:cairomm package which needs some love for the recent
changes in glibmm and I'd like to see the latest release 1.12.0 packaged.

Dave, do you want to prepare such an update or should the Debian GNOME
team pick up src:cairomm as well?

If so, I'd start importing the current state into git and push it to
collab-maint.

Cheers,
Michael
