Dear Maintainers,

I'm having this very same problem but I believe it is not related to
totem exactly but to some of its dependencies.

The problem started after an "apt-get upgrade" where totem was not
updated but the following totem-related packages were:

Packages totem depends on that were updated:
gstreamer1.0-clutter-3.0    3.0.16-1    ->  3.0.18-1
libglib2.0-0                2.46.2-3    ->  2.48.0-1
libgstreamer1.0-0           1.6.3-1     ->  1.8.0-1

Packages totem recommends that were updated:
gstreamer1.0-libav          1.6.3-1     ->  1.8.0-1
gstreamer1.0-pulseaudio     1.6.3-1     ->  1.8.0-1
