Package: totem
Version: 3.18.1-2+b1
Followup-For: Bug #819594
Dear Maintainer,
I confirm this bug is present, and renders totem useless: we cannot play any video file any more.
To reproduce, just run totem whatevervideoyouhave and you will immediately see it.
Looking around, it seems this bug comes from a bad interaction with components of gstreamer, see
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1300125
and in particular
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=760234
This appears to be fixed in RedHat now: may we get a fix in our preferred distribution too? :-)
