I'm seeing something similar in gnome-online-accounts.
My Calendar/Contacts data is gone and if I e.g. run
gnome-calendar, I get on the console:

** (gnome-calendar:25458): WARNING **: on_client_connected: Failed to
open/connect 'Default calendar': Verbindung mit »Default calendar« ist
gescheitert:Zeitüberschreitung wurde erreicht

(sorry for the German locale, it basically says tha there was a timeout)
