For anyone who wants edge-scrolling back, you can cop the attached
desktop file to ~/.config/autostart/

You might have to adjust the xprop parameters.

Run "xinput list" and look for your touchpad (in my case it's device
number 11), then run "xinput list-props <device>". There, look for
"Scroll Method Enabled" (in my case 290)
That gives you
/usr/bin/xinput set-prop 11 --type=int --format=8 290 0 1 0
