I've found a fix...

You need to delete gstreamer registry file to fix this:

rm $HOME/.cache/gstreamer-1.0/registry.x86_64.bin

($HOME/.cache should probably be replaced with
${XDG_CACHE_HOME:-$HOME/.cache} to be freedesktop friendly)

Works for me at least.

I think this should be incorporated into package install script somewhere...
