Bug#849680: gnome-sudoku: earmarks/notes broken

Package: gnome-sudoku
Version: 1:3.22.2-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

The note-taking feature seems completely broken - according to the manual (viewable by pressing F1), I should be able to press n, ctrl-number or right-click to takes notes in a cell, but none of these have any effect. The help file seems out of date - it also talks about a nonexistent settings menu (in the hints section, for example).
