Package: gnome-shell
Version: 3.14.4-1~deb8u1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
when I plug in the ethernet cable, it allowes me to select the profile to be
used. Once connection success, ethernet entry disappear from menu, and is only
visible the icon in the bar. Wifi still remain like always.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I plug cable, set the profile, and entry disappears. If I unplag the cable, the
connection goes lost, and if i plug in the cable again, all over again. It
showes me entry, i connect, and it disappear.
* What was the outcome of this action?
I cant change profile, and mainly, like in wifi, i havent the option to simply
disconnect, instead to deactivate the device (ethernet, wifi card, etc)
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Once connected the ethernet menu entry remains, and leave users, the ability to
select other profiles, or simply disconnect, exactly like in network gnome
applet in gnome2.
