Package: libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0
Severity: normal
Hi. In August 2015 JPEG2000 support was removed:

  https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=796270

The cited rationale was the poor state of the library providing this
support. I have no particular love of jasper, but supporting JPEG2000 is
desirable. It is indeed somewhat "exotic" and "fringe", and you usually
don't need it; until you do.

What needs to happen to get this support back in some way?

Thanks.
