Maybe the update of xorg-server to version 2:1.18.3-2 (use of builtin
modesettings) as I'm the owner of an intel GPU.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

no effects.
   * What was the outcome of this action?
