I haveen't looked at the patch in detail yet, just one comment from a
cursory glance: I don't think there is much benefit in splitting the
udeb in libgail18-udeb + libgail-common-udeb, soname transitions are no
concern for d-i after all.
So maybe a single udeb package as we have for libgtk2.0-0
(libgtk2.0-0-udeb) would be more suitable.
