Bug#824618: gnome-control-center: Details>Default Applications should configure update-alternatives too

Package: gnome-control-center
Version: 1:3.20.1-1
Severity: wishlist

I think people expect when they set the default web browser in
Settings>Details>Default applications, that the system will respect
that choice. But some software in Debian uses the update-alternatives
system to decide which browser to open a given link.

Therefore, it would be great if gnome-control-center would set the
update-alternatives selections too.
