Bug#823785: Patch from Arch devs

Built gnome-shell with the patch applied, and no drop to console happened.

Oh, and upstream merged a modified version of the patch to both the
mainline and stable/maintenance branch:

So, it may be easiest to just pull in their updated stable branch:

In looking at dmesg and journalctl, the 'trap int 3' is gone, which seemed
to correspond to the timing of the observed failure. The segfaults are
still there, though.
