GDM theme for Stretch release

Dear Maintainers,

I’m working on implementing the Soft Waves theme selected for Stretch.
Already the bits are in place in desktop-base 9.0.0~exp1 to setup the default wallpaper and lock screen with the new theme.

Would you find it interesting to theme the GDM login screen for Stretch ?
I know it hasn’t been the case for several releases and GDM has been using the same noise texture. The current login screen has a consistent design, but I would still find it nice to make it more « Debian ».

In attachment what I’ve done for Plasma 5 login. I’ve tried to poke with the GDM theme without success.
But surely Gnome can match that level. :-P
